QED offers accelerometers in three g ranges (-2g to +4g, -2g to +8g, and -5g to +10g), a choice of four standard colors of integral lighting or no lighting at all, and manufacturing to six different MIL SPECS. Boeing chose QED's Model 2118 to monitor g loads on its highly agile AH-64D Apache.

Because aerobatic planes often pull extremely high negative, as well as, positive gs, they sometimes carry 2 QED = 8g or+ 10g accelerometers-one mounted right side up, the other upside-down. See Models 2117 and 2094.
